Frozen Time

‘Frozen time’ has been created by DGT Architects for Japanese watch brand CITIZEN in Baselworld, the largest watch and jewel industry exhibition in the world. Citizen decided not to renew their booth for next 4 years, but to reserve a large reception space to stay open. Each year they will present an installation  that will allow the space to evolve and to express their fundamental identity of ‘Challenging sprits’. Paris-based DGT was commissioned for the first year’s installation. After a lengthy research into watch making, DGT came up with the statement ‘Time is Light and Light is Time’.
